My favourite castle so far. It had been Aragonian until it became French in the 13th century.
Fantastic views from up there including towards Peyrepertuse.
A really nice village with a small supermarket and great views from the hill overlooking the mill. Had this funny idea of buying a house there...

Found an aspis viper on the way up and caught a beautiful grasshopper on the way down.
Great views with blue sky all around us.
We are @ ca. 910 m, can both see the Mediterranean for the first time and also some pyrenean peaks covered in snow.

When we came out of this gorge we had suddenly come into meditaranean climate: our first Olive-tree, vinyards and another smell of warmth. 😁
Like most other churches this one was locked, too.
