    Arriving in Hanoi

    We have just arrived in Hanoi. Super crowded, super warm and humid. Traffic is way more chaotic as in Bangkok and there is a lot of trash on the streets so far. We will now look for a motorbike and plan the next 1-2 weeks.Read more

    Veeeery hot and humid day in Hanoi city… we managed to get a decent bike for our next 30 days - cant wait for it 🥳 and also to leave the hot city behind us. We are currently planing the next 1 week and probably we are going to head to the north part of Vietnam.Read more

    North tour - Day 4

    Today we had our longest trip so far. The view in the mountains were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately google maps showed us a wrong road and we ended up at some tricky gravel road for ca 30km 🙈🙈 at the end everything was fine and we had a great adventure! :)Read more

    North tour - Day 6 & 7

    Finally we have arrived to the sea at Ha Long Bay. The city is super modern but the tourists are missing ( still post covid…). The sea water is very warm (30degC) but also quite dirty. We will stay here for 2 days a d then start our next trip to the South! 🤩🤙Read more

    South tour - Day 3 & 4

    We are now located in the central part of Vietnam and the weather has also changed accordingly. Yesterday we had to ride in rain for 1-2 hours, but was still super warm and humid afterwards. We did check out the tunnels where the local people hided and fought during the Vietnam war. Its quite something from inside 😬😬 The next 3-4 days we will spend in Hoi An city (The weather looks also promising 🤞)Read more

    South tour - Day 5 & 6

    In the last 2 days we were staying in Hoi An. On the way we could enjoy some nice roads with beautiful view of the landscape. The weather turned again very nice (sunny ☀️). Hoi An is a smaller but nice city with a lot of tourists. We will stay 2 more days until we will ride again to the south.Read more

    South tour - Day 7 & 8

    We have spent 2 more refreshing days in Hoi An city before our next longer ride. One of the biggest tourist attraction was Ba Na Hills, which was quite disappointing for us 😅 Basically an expensive theme park with a remake/copy of European buildings and culture... 😁 After spending 4 days in Hoi An we are looking forward for our next city.Read more

    Today was our longest ride so far 💪 It was interesting to see that the environment is slowly changing. We are seeing way more palm trees and a lot of sandy terrain.

    South tour - Day 12 & 13 & 14 & 15

    We have spent 4 days for doing the open water certificate for scuba diving ✔️ 🤿 It was a lot of fun, although Reka was a bit sick 🤒 Nevertheless it turned out that she was the greatest fish in the ocean 🤩 We are looking forward to go scuba diving in other places as well!Read more

    South Tour - Day 15 & 16

    We have spent 2 days in Mui Ne which is famous for its sand dunes and kite surfing. It seems that this town used to be very touristy in the past but now it feels empty with a lot of closed places. But this has been generally true for whole Vietnam so far… As it should be the beach was quite windy in the afternoons and I (Adam) also took 2h of kite lesson. It was not enough to stand up with the board, but still a good experience. Out next stop will be Saigon which is also the last city in Vietnam for us. :(Read more

    Ho Chi Minh City - Last days in Vietnam

    We have arrived in HCMC (Saigon) 🏍💨 🏁 This is the 2nd largest city in Vietnam and sadly also our last stop in the country :( In our last three days we have visited a lot of local markets, the history museum about the Vietnam war and returned our bike. Honestly speaking we are very happy about our choices in here, hence the bike trip turned out to be a fantastic experience ❤️ We were wondering how the time did go by so fast…

    In HCM we have decided that we will take a bus from here and go to Cambodia for 1-2 weeks. The plan remains: No plan. ✌️    Read more

    Cambodia - Phnom Penh

    We have spent two days in Phnom Penh - the capital city of Cambodia 🇰🇭. In here, we have visited the genocide museum.
    Cambodia has a very dark history in which 3 million (almost 1/2 of population) people were killed in a civil war between 1975 and 1978. It was very disturbing to see that something like this could happen 50 years ago. It is important to see, think and learn from it - hence, something like this shall never happen again…

    Thailand - Koh Tao

    We haven’t posted a footprint since a few days… That being said, we haven’t been bored 🙂 we are currently on the island Koh Tao (Thailand).
    In the last days we have done some scuba dives and also did an upgrade of our scuba dive certification in which we went to a ship wreck, night diving, navigation dive and did also a „deep“ dive to 30m. 🤿 (no footage, unfortunately…)
    Conditions were not always perfect 😅 yesterday between our two dives we were in a storm on the sea and booth of us became seesick, but enjoyed the dive afterwards ✌️
    We will spend a few more days on the neighbour islands before going to our next location. 🏝    Read more

    Thailand - Koh Phangan

    We have been in Koh Phangan for a few days, because of the fool moon festival, it was really special.
    Partying with a lot of people on the beach was fun. 🌚 🌝

    This little island was so much more than that, with amazing views, beaches and snorkeling places. We really enjoyed our stay, and now we are heading to Krabi to the airport because we are traveling further to the south. 👀🤿 🏝Read more
