Arriving in St. Simons!

Today was day 2 of the car ride. We left Knoxville, Tennessee about 9:00AM. We drove on some very twisty roads through the mountains, which was very pretty. I think everyone was less excited about the drive, but baby girl Wiggy was not happy at all today! She should have been, she got eggs and bacon for breakfast! 🥓🍳Dan and I decided to make a detour to Charleston, SC for a late lunch. We had some good barbecue, but we forgot how hot and humid it was outside. After eating lunch outside, all 3 of us were ready to be back in the car with AC. While on this last portion of the drive we drove through some swamps. Dan said, “that’s a Georgia swamp.” Only realize after he said it, we were still in South Carolina! 😆We made it to SSI about 7:15PM. We unpacked and headed right over to see Dans grandpa.
