Huacachina Oasis, Ica

Ica is located in a desert, ca. 300km south of Lima. Next to the city huge sand dunes letting you feel like you’re somewhere at the Arabic peninsula.
Right in between these dunes you can find the most iconic sight of Ica: the Oasis Huacachina.

We went there at late afternoon to catch the sunset. The place was full of people and we didn’t feel the magic we were expecting after seeing all the beautiful pictures. But the light of the sunset was still amazing.
We decided to go there again early the next morning and we didn’t regret it. Almost nobody was around so we enjoyed climbing on top of one of the dunes, taking pictures and flying the drone.Read more
