Manchester YHA

After being in the air with some stop overs for 26 Hours, we finally made it to Manchester airport. We were then picked up by a taxi and driven to Manchester YHA.
Now Siting in the lobby of the Manchester Youth Hostel Apartments, waiting for our walking buddies to arrive. It is still my birthday.Les mer

Old Trafford

Just finished our first full day In England. We went to the famous stadium, Old Trafford, where the first Ashes were played. We then went to the Manchester United's home ground and did the tour of the stadium, it was really awesome. I bought a Man U jersey. We are missing Storm very much and we love him so much.Les mer

First days walk

Today we walked from St. Bees - Ennerdale bridge. We walked 14 miles today and climbed two very high mountains. Our friend Lachlan carried a really heavy rock today, he named it Dwayne.

Ennerdale - Borrowdale slate mine

Sadly, Lachlan had to chuck out Dwayne due to how heavy he was. We walked along Ennerdale water. For lunch we went to the yha in black sail where there was an honesty system. We met up with our friends from St. Bees, Ray, Allen and Phil. Straight after lunch we climbed up a big hill which Ethan and I powered up. When we got to the top we met up with Ray, Allen and Phil. From there on the walk was really cold and windy. When we made it to the slate mine we played some games like battle ship, chess and mystery.Les mer
