    Train up to London and met Dave & Biaggio for a beautiful lunch at Dishoom. Rainy day. Went to Borough Markets then The Bell near Cannon Street where we met Bernie's cousin ???. On to another pub overlooking the Thames then back home - and last night of G&Ts.Leia mais

    Left Moyra's about 8.30. Quick unannounced stop at Mum's to say final farewell. Just one major jam on the way to Gatwick and arrived in plenty of time to return car and check in. Flight boarded on time but then went nowhere! After a couple of hours we were taken off the plane supposedly so they could replenish the oxygen supplies and then we'd be on our way. Another three hours before we were back on plane and on our way about 6.00pm.Leia mais

    Journey home continued!

    Scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong at 7.20am, but didn't make it til about 12.20pm - and consequently missed our connecting flight which was due to leave at 12.45pm. Put on a later Qantas flight leaving at 8.00pm but had to stay in the transit area as they wouldn't issue our boarding passes til an hour or two before departure. Very long day! Set off from Hong Kong on time at 8.00pm.Leia mais
