Back to a big city! After driving through mountains and wilderness for the last two weeks, it is crazy being in the city. Happy to be so close to our new home, and ready to finally arrive in Seward!
Spending a few days here, then making the last three hour drive to Seward, Alaska, and the culmination of a month of traveling.

Our first stop after coming back into the US, and it was amazing! Stayed in a beautiful cabin in the woods, enjoyed a free impromptu concert right from our front porch, and ate a delicious breakfast cooked by our hostess. Couldn't have asked for a better return to the states.
On the way here, we found the Signpost Forest, saw grizzles and moose, and saw some BEAUTIFUL scenery!Read more
Not much nice to say about Whitehorse, besides that they had good food!
Glad we didn't get stabbed.
So, the food in Canada kinda sucks. Not much else happened this leg of the trip! We are 350 miles closer to our new home. Long driving day tomorrow!
Lots of wildlife, beautiful mountains, and chilly lakes. Our last national park we're visiting on our way North to Alaska. It was a great stop!
Now on the road again, heading to Fort Saint John, BC.
A beautiful hike to a secluded lake, surrounded by mountains. Our last stop in the continental United States, before heading into Canada!
We've traveled 3600 miles, and have 2500 miles ahead of us. Hoping the border crossing goes smoothly, and we get to Jasper National Park safely!Read more
Moose, bison and bears, oh my! A friend likened Yellowstone to Jurassic park, and I can see why! Animals everywhere, bubbling hot springs, and shooting geysers.
This was one of the most amazing places I've ever been!

Thick salt covering the ground for as far as the eye can see! This wasn't even meant to be an interesting stop, just a break in our drive from Moab to Yellowstone; but it ended up being one of the coolest parts of the trip so far!Read more
