Near Devil's Tower... SD / WY.

Camped in a forest of ponderosa, young and not too mature, but interesting enough. The gully right beneath the campsite has aspen and a number of them have died. Connie pointed out that an aspen is a very short-lived tree. It grows from the roots of others, the roots spread underground and shoot up and they don't live too long apparently.
For better or for worse, it seems that scriptwise and movie making wise there's being a major decision made very shortly. I've turned it over to the Universe, we'll see what transpires. one door closes another door opens. I'm ready. We head for the Devil's Tower shortly. Apparently it is about 15 miles away.
The smoke that is reportedly covering New York City is rather disturbing, yet again the consequences of our actions in climate crisis and and forestry. Ties in again with those flames I saw in my NDE.
