Monday, 7/17/23, Glaciers or bust...

Melt me not, oh warming planet, melt not this icebox of Nature...
Just had my oats and sipping mug of hot coffee, watching dawn caress the peaks. Then off to go glacier watching.
Long day, all the way to Logan Pass on East Side Glazier NP. Long walk to near outlook. Outlook closed due to bear activity.
Got many decent shots 2-3 of Mountain Goat and kid. Also Big Horn exhibiting ego on a ridge. Not much left of glaciers at the stage of summer.
Got back to camp via St Mary. Lovely lake. Very strong wind.
Suggested I make cheese omelette for supper - then forgot the cheese! Tired as I am - but that is an excuse for failure - of ommittimg a crucial ingredient!En savoir plus
