    Rain - Pacific Creek Forest Camp...

    Well, no sooner had we pitched our extra room canopy to serve as galley / cum writing area, when... down came the rain, well, OK, into all travels a little rain must fall... that was three days ago, still, the dirt road 'big muddies' are... bigger and muddier. Pilgrim Creek is in full flood, adding to a rather swollen Snake River. On top of all that, this p. m. after chores at Colter Bay, the Tetons socked in by cloud all day, showed signs of lifting slightly - with AUGUST snowfall (!) Yes, but this is mountain weather.
    "... and here we sit like two birds in a wilderness..." well, ja. Go up the trail out of camp and... we are in a wilderness!

    Great, dramatic images of TETONS and storm over the major peaks.
