Seems battery is short- circuiting. Lights fail but, skittle and kettle have power so last night hot stew (coconut curry leftovers) and... hot chocolate! Who needs light?

Yup, we decided to let the storm move on, and spent a fascinating long morning touring the historic mining town of South Pass. Fascinatingly restored by WY., two buildings, iron-monger's forge and school house could easily be used as a set in JoR - when that becomes reality.
