Near the CO. / WY border in the CO. Foothills of the Rockies.
Absolutely lovely. A lake somewhere over the hill behind us. Not another soul nearby - at all. Dirt road badly rutted leading further up a steep slope. We did first 100 yards, found this site - and stopped.
ONLY hint of humanity a passing car or two on dirt road leading to RED FEATHER campground further below. Is RED FEATHER associated with RED EAGLE we camped at outside Glacier NP ? Don't know, don't care.
Beautiful pastel sunset skies on Eastern horizon last night.
Accidentally upset chess board last night - while reaching for mandatory mug of hot chocolate. Missing in action White Bishop + White Knight. Chess moves frozen until hot chocolate lubricates neurons ( sic?) [LOL] Connie is improving, but getting dispondant at not winning. My offer to handicap myself gets rejected every time.
