Beautiful Edinburgh

We arrived at our accommodation in Edinburgh about 10pm last night after a very long but smooth flight. Apartment is good but no lift, so had to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs!
This morning we did a very interesting tour of Edinburgh Castle then were lucky enough to secure a table at Makars Mash for lunch after a fortuitous cancellation. This afternoon we walked to the very beautiful St Giles Cathedral and the Writer's museum. Then took a tour of Edinburgh Old Town and the underground streets and houses - very dark and dank. Finished up with a walk to St Andrew's Square to get a photo with Paddington Bear for our grandchildren.
Close to 20000 steps -bit exhausted now! 😄Läs mer
