Edinburgh to Oban

Great day today after a not so great start when my phone fell out of my pocket in an Uber. Trying to track it down when my phone was the one with the Uber app on it was not easy. Success in the end and ultimately happy driver when rewarded with a very big tip.
Drove to Stirling Castle and was able to join our booked tour, only a couple of minutes late. Guide was fantastic and was able to bring the history of the castle to life. After a light lunch at the castle we headed towards Oban. The scenery was beautiful as the road took us past many lochs and through wee villages.
Arrived in Oban late afternoon to a wonderful room with dual aspect windows, one with a huge window seat, overlooking the Sound of Mull. Sunny with blue skies today reaching 22c this afternoon.Läs mer
