More spectacular Skye

A combination of walking and driving today but wherever we went surrounded by amazing scenery. Started after breakfast by hiking up to The Storr which is a mountain which has lost its peak due to erosion. More interesting to look at than it sounds! Gave a wonderful view over surrounding hills and the loch.
Lunch at the Flodigarry Hotel - a smoked haddock and Isle of Mull toastie for Sue and a Scottish fish broth for Tim.
We then did a loop around the Northwest of Skye to see The Kilt, Quraing and The Fairy Glen which are all very unique and different land and rock formations. The roads to the Quiraing were some of the most spectacular we have ever seen - very narrow, steep and bendy with many stretches single lane only.Lue lisää
