Skye is simply stunning!

Quite a bit of driving today through some spectacular scenery. After breakfast we drove to Glenfinnan and hiked up a rough track to the best view point of the viaduct made famous in the Harry Potter movies. Didn't wait for the train as they were using a diesel engine today because of the fire risk with a steam engine.... just not the same! Then drove to the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle via the Commando Memorial. The scenery was breathtaking with craggy peaks on each side of the road. Crossing the Skye Bridge the water was some of the bluest we have seen - think WA blue! We visited the Armadale castle, museum and gardens this afternoon and then made our way to our very cute two storey apartment - our home for the next two nights.
