Very changeable weather throughout today - sunshine, wind and showers all taking equal turns. Did a wee walk around Dornoch which is a very pretty mid- size town with lovely old stone buildings. Then drove out to Shin waterfall where Tim saw a Salmon leaping up stream.
On to a very interesting tour around the Glenmorangie whisky distillery - included two drams each to taste.
Our accommodation for tonight is next to the Culloden Battlefield. We spent a couple of hours walking around the field and took a tour which described the very bloody history of the battle - 1500 Jacobites were killed and about 50 Government soldiers.Read more
