Pinhao

Nice relaxing day cruising along the Douro River to Pinhao.
Very hilly terrain with vineyards planted down to the river banks in many places. Went through three locks today, one of which was 83 m long for our 80m boat. Water level difference was 36m. Amazing engineering.
Tonight we had an invitation to dine at the Captain's table for the Gala dinner which was very nice.
After dinner there was a 'flower party with lots of 69s, 70s and 80s dance music. Held on the top deck under the stars.Les mer
