06 | Coromandel | New Chums Beach

🇬🇧 This afternoon we drove about 20 minutes across the peninsula to a beach called Wangapoua, from where you can walk a further 30 minutes across rocks and through trees to another beach called New Chums Beach (Wainuitoto). It was very beautiful and actually quite busy considering there is no car access at all. On the walk there was also a very steep path to a lookout point where you could see both beaches. We spent a few hours swimming and relaxing before heading back to Coromandel Town.

🇩🇪 Heute Nachmittag fuhren wir etwa 20 Minuten über die Halbinsel zu einem Strand namens Wangapoua, von wo aus man weitere 30 Minuten über Felsen und durch Bäume zu einem anderen Strand namens New Chums Beach (Wainuitoto) laufen kann. Er war sehr schön und überraschend voll, wenn man bedenkt, dass er überhaupt nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Auf dem Weg gab es auch einen sehr steilen Pfad zu einem Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus man beide Strände sehen konnte. Wir verbrachten ein paar Stunden mit Schwimmen und Entspannen, bevor wir zurück nach Coromandel Town fuhren.Read more
