23 | Hawkes Bay | Tutira Lake Campsite

🇬🇧 Tutira Lake is located approximately 50 km north of Napier. It's got a free campsite with only a toilet, and a paid for campsite with toilets and water. Because we arrived so late at night we pitched in the free campsite, which was ok but got a lot of traffic noise from the highway. In the morning we went for a short swim in the lake which was super warm.

🇩🇪 Der Tutira Lake liegt etwa 50km nördlich von Napier. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Campingplatz mit nur einer Toilette und einen kostenpflichtigen Campingplatz mit Toiletten und Trinkwasser. Da wir so spät in der Nacht ankamen, schlugen wir unser Zelt auf dem kostenlosen Campingplatz auf, was ok war, aber man konnte viel Verkehrslärm von der Autobahn hören.
