Lammerklamm, Lake Bled, Ljubljana

Found an Austrian gorge that was open! We randomly drove by it on the way back to Salzburg from Gosausee yesterday, had a sign out front stating it was open. We found out the hard way that Austria considers it winter until mid May and sometimes June depending on the year so most gorge, waterfall, and high alpine areas are closed due to icy and dangerous conditions. Luckily this one opened early and we were able to explore on the way to Slovenia. Thanks to friends who shared great suggestions (thank you CJ and Meghan!!) we found Lake Bled and the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, which were amazing.Read more
