Italian dolomites/Dave’s birthday hike

We tried to hike to lake Sorapis in the Italian Dolomites but turned around about a half mile from the lake due to dangerous trail conditions. Before we turned around we encountered lots of snow and ice but it was very peaceful and beautiful views. Lots of technical icy scrambling and navigating some slick chutes.Read more
