The Grand Palace

Our first day back to Thailand, we explored the grand palace in Bangkok, which is used actively for the royal family to live in. It was built in 1782 after the ancient city Ayutthaya was attacked. The ornate architecture was beautiful, especially in the sun. Unfortunately, there were no clouds and the heat index got up to 128°.
