Last of Devil’s tower and into Montana

We enjoyed the dog area we booked at our campsite along with an amazing sunset. The view of Devil’s Tower were impressive time and time again. We stayed up long enough to watch the moonrise but crashed early before doing much star gazing. The sunrise day 16 lit up the tower in bright gold which was neat to see. The boys got their pictures taken in front of the tower and then we hit the road. We drove 612 miles through most of Montana east to west. It’s a very long state, so we boondocked at a truck stop for the night. We couldn’t put the slide out so it was a cramped evening but we all were able to rest a bit which was the most important part.Read more
