Getting into the mountains

We had a relaxing morning including an amazing breakfast at a local diner, Troutman Cafe. Then we packed up and drove 101 miles to Banner Elk, NC. We absolutely love this area and our campground is in an even better location than we thought. With views of Grandfather Mountain, our favorite local winery 5 minutes away, and cooler temps it is just perfect. The mountains have been calling our names for too long.Read more
