Tryon Wineries

We took a day trip with Lisa and Jon to show them some of our favorite wineries in Tryon, NC. This area has similar elevation and soil pH as the Willamette valley in Oregon which is very different than the composition just south where we lived. This allows wineries to grow high quality grapes on sight instead of having to ship them in from California or Oregon. We love coming up here with the mountain views and friendly people.Read more
