Dinner with great friends, and goats!

After Oakmont bakery we had a great dinner with Dave’s friends. Then we walked along the river and saw working goats (clearing river brush). Beautiful evening with wonderful people.

Incline up to Mt Washington

We took an incline car up the steep hillside to Mt Washington which overlooks the city. It’s a beautiful area that is extremely well preserved.

We enjoyed watching the storm roll in from Mt Washington but decided it was a good idea to ride the incline back down to get the truck.

Covered bridge and small towns

Stopped at a covered bridge on the way to the Flight 93 memorial and took the backroads through beautiful small towns with tons of character.

Dave had a work meeting so Erica drove to the Flight 93 memorial where the passengers overtook the hijackers on the 4th flight on 9/11. It’s located at the crash site and does a great job at payingLæs mere
Fun day at Kennywood!

We both loved visiting Dave’s childhood theme park and had fun on our first rollercoaster together. Short and sweet trip as a lot of the rides were closed but still a beautiful day.

Mt Tammany hike after driving 6 hours

Drove an hour to hike at Buttermilk falls in Delaware water gap. Almost 6 miles round trip with some crazy inclines. Beautiful area with 2 lakes in addition to the waterfall, and had a scare at theLæs mere
