After Oakmont bakery we had a great dinner with Dave’s friends. Then we walked along the river and saw working goats (clearing river brush). Beautiful evening with wonderful people.

We took an incline car up the steep hillside to Mt Washington which overlooks the city. It’s a beautiful area that is extremely well preserved.

Stopped at a covered bridge on the way to the Flight 93 memorial and took the backroads through beautiful small towns with tons of character.

Dave had a work meeting so Erica drove to the Flight 93 memorial where the passengers overtook the hijackers on the 4th flight on 9/11. It’s located at the crash site and does a great job at payingЧитать далее
ПутешественникOh I was definitely sobbing walking through the part that played the last messages. They had video of the towers getting hit and falling as well which took me back to that day like it was just yesterday. Such bravery and really well represented at the site.

We both loved visiting Dave’s childhood theme park and had fun on our first rollercoaster together. Short and sweet trip as a lot of the rides were closed but still a beautiful day.
