Copenhagen Day 3 - Design tour

Today was dedicated to exploring the famous Danish design. We first took VoiceMap design tour, which took us to an interesting hotel lobby featuring furniture by the famous designer, such as the “egg chair” - the shape that is quite mainstream today, but was considered groundbreaking the first time it was introduced. We then went to the Copenhagen Design Museum, and learned about the evolution of design, and the various elements, such as shapes, textures and colors. In the afternoon, I went to see the famous Little Mermaid statue, and despite the reputation of the common touristy complaints of “is that it?”, I was absolutely enchanted by its grace and simplicity.
