    Today, we went to see the original war rooms in the bunker that Churchill and his team used during the WWII. It was absolutely fascinating. It actually wasn’t a bunker, but a regular large basement under one of the government buildings that was expanded and set up as Churchills was headquarters. It wasn’t a real shelter and wasn’t bomb proof, but luckily it was never struck during the London blitz bombings. The location was extremely secure, and it remained a closely guarded secret through the war years. We saw all the rooms in its original state, including Churchill’s office, bedroom and communication room from which he would talk to American President.Read more
