Fantastic first day checking out area close to my apartment before I could check in. Gorgeous skies and sunshine and impressive gardens.
Then headed around Parnell for funky shops and cafes.
Waterfront Auckland CBD

Fantastic redeveloped industrial area of the harbour with cool art. Then followed by a walk around interesting architecture in the CBD
Mount Eden and Sky Tower

Saw amazing views from 2 different places first Mount Eden, a sacred Maori ground out of the centre of town. And then Sky Tower, stunning weather for it.
Hobbiton Movie Set

Stunning weather and amazing morning on the set of Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films. V cool. Just a shame a rushed beer at the end.
Rotorua

Bus from Hobbiton to the geothermal place of Rotorua. Slightly haphazard run after falling over and then running through stunning scenery of hot springs and water front.
Waimangu Volcanic Valley

Shuttle bus out to an amazing site of volcanic activity. Hot springs, geothermal pools and amazing sunshine for the final view of the lake.
Wellington arrival

Very lengthy and protracted trip to get here but I've made it to the capital! This is the view from my room..
Mount Victoria

After a run (wet vile weather) to get my bearings in the morning I then did even more steps on a hike up Mount Victoria which is right near by b&b. Fantastic views despite the less than great weather.
Museum of New Zealand

Incredible Te Papa museum with a bit of everything. I most enjoyed the Maori art and the exhibit about volcanic activity. Really impressive.
Zealandia

Bird reserve further out of the city with amazing views and saw some birds!!
Botanic Gardens

Amazing views and beautifully organised gardens. Great lunch too
Wellington to Picton Ferry

Delayed ferry trip but incredible views and easy crossing made it worth it.
Arriving in Blenheim

Town Square the previous night and gorgeous views on morning Run.
Blenheim wine tour

After a stressful sorting out of travel to Abel Tasman I did my hop on hop off wine tour. The weather was gorgeous and I met an American girl on the way. Then had a quick meet up with Sarah's friend,Baca lagi
Abel Tasman National Park

A couple of buses through stunning scenery to get me to Marahau and the edge of the National Park. Grabbed food and had a wander to prepare for a more full on day tomorrow
Abel Tasman coastal trail

Boat taxi to Anchorage then walk back to Marahau. It was 12km+ far more than if ever normally do and I did a bit extra at the start. An incredible experience. Wouldn't want to do it for 3 days though
Westport stay and journey there

I joined the Kiwi Experience at Kaiteriteri. We then went down the west of South Island, taking in amazing scenery and stopping at a lake on the way.
Westport to Franz Joseph

We left Westport and wound our way down to the West Coast. We took in a seal colony and pancake rocks and stopped at Greymouth before arriving in Franz Joseph for a quick walk.

Went for a scenic run around the glaciers at the best point of the day and then headed back before the rain dominated the rest of the day.
Travel day Franz Joseph to Queenstown

Left Franz Joseph for an epic travel day with stops at Lake Matheson, Lake ?? And Wanaka before arriving in the adventure mecca.
Queenstown day 1

Explored the gardens and waterfront on a morning Run. Then headed up Skyline Queenstown followed by an ice cream and wander round shops rounded off day with a trip to Fergburger.
Queenstown Day 2 and Arrowtown

After everyone else headed to Milford sound I went on the Queenstown hill hike taking in the basket of dreams. Then a lovely coffee and wander through the shops. Headed to Arrowtown on the bus in theBaca lagi
Shotover Canyon Swing and Jet

The adrenaline side of the trip happened with a canyon swing followed by a ride on the shotover jet. The swing was mildly terrifying but well worth the money.
