On the way, he stopped for us tons each a look at a Tamil we had our Botanic garden
    Adventure de sucre

Tamil temple - shoes off. Lots of incense. Very colourful. In Terre rouge

Port Louis - markets - wow! The colours and the smells

Old slave building - the citadel (port Adelaide)

    Then on to pampelmousse

First stop sir ...... Botanical gardens. First botanical gardens established in the Southern Hemisphere. Wonderful array of plants from all over Southern Hemisphere. Went on a guided tour. The tour guide was very friendly and quite funny. The others in the tour were English , Si it was great - he just spoke English the whole time.

Highlights - lotus in flower on pond. Also massive plants on pond - like plates

A few Australian plants in the garden - eucalyptus and bottle brush

    Tortoises and deer

Second stop - d'adventure de sucre.

A lot of information about the history of Mauritius
We all sat with Kelsey's family for dinner. It was 'ocean theme' buffet for dinner. At the entrance to dining they had sea urchin and oysters which dad tried. Kelsey's dad had about 20 sea urchins. They are quite a delicacy. Mum had the mussels which were also delicious.

Went to bed early -everyone in tired! (Didn't stay for 9:30 show)
