Roadtrip 2.1: Sophie, Silvetta and me

    June 27, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

Juhuuu, another renting car, another roadtrip! We were a bit disappointed that it wasn't pink so we changed the planned name of Rosetta to Silvetta and off we were! It is such a difference to sing along to silly songs when you are two. It's so so nice that Sophie is with me. We stopped at places we liked, had lunch in a very English pub, visited a bunker, a lighthouse and went to the mistery spot. It is somewhere in the woods where the compass needle does funny things (that's what they say.) So everything is very steep and queer. You are in a cabin, all is tilted at a 17° angle. Your brain does not get it so you are a bit dizzy, you walk like a drunk and are surprised when the water is running upwards. With the very bad jokes of our guide (it reminded me of the tunnel tour back in Perth) this was a very funny thing to do. We arrived in Santa Cruz, our first stop and ended the day with some delicious fish on the beach - what more to ask for!Read more
