Second week in Aus begins

This morning we switched our accommodation closer to the beach. This hostel is better for us because of a huge professional kitchen and lots of activities and help available to find jobs. Before we even checked in a nice recruitment professional helped us to polish our cv:s and also we got ourselves new phone numbers and internet connection! Yay! Except that because my last name always causes troubles my new simcard doesn't work yet. I have to go to the operator's store tomorrow to get it fixed. They don't have ä:s here so all the byrocracy always causes me troubles. The rest of the day we spent at the beach with some friends. Had a lovely picnic lunch and fought the waves a little, but the sea was so warm today! Tomorrow the job search and beach life continues.

Tänä aamuna vaihdoimme majoitusta lähemmäksi rantaa. Tämä hostelli sopii meille paremmin, koska täällä on kunnon keittiö kokkailuun ja paljon aktiviteetteja sekä täällä saa apua työnhakuun. Ennen sisäänkirjautumistakaan mukava rekrytointiammattilainen auttoi meitä parantelemaan cv:itä ja saatiin myös uudet australialaiset liittymät! Ääkkösiä sisältävän sukunimen takia mikään ei ulkomailla tosin koskaan toimi mulla, joten joudun huomenna vielä vierailemaan operaattorin liikkeessä. Loppupäivän tänään hengailtiin rannalla kavereiden kanssa ja nautittiin ihana pikniklounas. Meri oli niin lämmin, että piti käydä pulikoimassa vaikka aallot oli valtavia!
