Not the smoothest start to our trip. Five guys sent to JFK, then Amsterdam and in to Manchester arriving Saturday afternoon around 130. Eight of us were moved to the 3p flight to ATLANTA but connection could be worrisome. The noon flight was just cancelled after we boarded.Читать далее

Started out sketchy but ended up fine. Rained until we started and then cleared out. Temps in low 50's with 20+ MPH winds. Shot a respectable 43-44*87. Played with Dr E.... great guy who shot 39-39*78.Читать далее

Day 5 Hillside Golf Club

Playing at 2p....IF rain stops. Currently 52 degrees and 27MPH winds. Well, it stopped for a bit....began raining again when we got to #4 and it was a hard, cold rain for 4 holes. Was regretting playing....but when it stopped it was done raining for the day. Actually a beautiful golf course and worth playing DESPITE the constantly shifting 25+ MPH winds. I will blame the weather for the front 47 and the wind for the backside 43. Once in I found out that no one broke 80....im fact Ethan Mylett 83 in my group was low for the day...and he's 24 and can tattoo the ball.Читать далее

Day 6 Royal Lytham and St. Annes

Raining at 8a but Southport is about 75 minutes away from the course. Forecast shows NO RAIN and much calmer....8 MPH...winds. Turned into a beautiful day. We were delayed about one hour but it was a great day. Shot a lousy 44-49#93 but really fun course.Читать далее

Wallasey Golf Club....final day

Gary the driver really wanted one final ride through a tunnel so Wallasey Golf was the choice!! 55 degrees, 5 MPH winds and sunny. Seems like the right end to the week. That is a Bernaise Mountain Dog BTW.
Shot a nifty 43-42+85 and it was my favorite course of the week. Still a bit chilly but clear and fun all day. Played with Mark Scott, Jim Vitou and Greg Mylett who all played ok too. Glad it's done for a while...tired!! Head back to the states in the morning. Adios......Читать далее
