Had a day out in Bern today, very warm at 33C. Saw the parliament, city bears and famous clock tower. Then went for a swim/float down the Aare river in Bern for over a kilometre to cool down.

A long day, early train to Neuhausen am Rheinfall to see the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe. This is in the north of Switzerland, bordering Germany.

I went for a boat trip to Felsen, the island in the middle of the falls, which has stairs upto a viewing platform overlooking the falls. Then a boat across to Schloss Laufen on the other bank.
