Near Anderson is Redding, where there is a church and college called Bethel. The view of the mountains is cool. The blossom is just coming out.

TravelerWe went to Heritage coffee shop which has a great atmosphere and then went up to Shasta dam. There is a beautiful lake and wildlife there. The snowy mountains are in the background. We loved, it was so peaceful. We had a birthday celebration.🥳🥳
TravelerI know envy is a terrible sin, and ATM I am a tad envious! Still when the sum total of your combined life is circa 120 years, and you have worked and slogged for the NHS a sum total of 75+ years, a die hard economist applauds you for taking a Sabbatical in one of the mist amazing Nations on earth, with the most magnificent and beautiful scenery, known to man! Crystal Creek waterfalls is a beautiful area. The abundance of snow and rain over the last couple of months means the waterfall is a crescendo of fresh water from the melting snow from the mountains.Read more

We walked around Turtle Bay exploration park. In the gardens we surprised to see a group of deer alongside seeing butterflies and beautiful birds. It's so good to walk by the river and enjoy the peace

We found this trail just outside Redding, and it was very peaceful. I love the reflection of the trees on the water surface. Spot the amateur photographer!
