• Continuing Along the Slea Head Drive

    We left the baby lambs behind and found a few more beehive huts at Ceann Sleibhe, which is another viewpoint to stop off at along the drive. Our view of the ocean wasn't very clear so we didn't stay long. We drove on and came to the Cross at Slea Head. We passed up Coumeenoole Beach and Dunquin Pier because it had started raining and visibility was poor. We drove down to the Clogher Strand. It looked like a great spot to spend a warm, sunny day. We made our way to our last stop on the Slea Head Drive, the Gallarus Oratory. Gallarus Oratory is believed to be over 1000 years old and is the best perserved ancient church in Ireland.Read more
