The goal for the day was to reach Johnston Canyon and walk to the lower falls. On the way there we found Muleshoe. A lake that used to be a bend in the Bow Valley River. The river found a shortcut and left this lake behind. It is filled by the flood waters from the river. I don't know why but I find this stuff fascinating. Gerard took a couple of arty farty pictures.
