    swiws Provincial Park

    October 5, 2024 in Canada ⋅ ☁️ 16 °C

Nope that title is not a typo. That is the word the indigenous people use to describe this area. This provincial park is on the edge of Osoyoos. Swiws means a place where it is shallow or narrow in the middle of the lake. The park is a peninsula that juts out into the Osoyoos Lake. It is quite small and we walked through pretty much the whole thing. Pretty much just campsites, with most beside the lake. Poison ivy is rampant there so we now know what it looks like. We had a nice walk on nice warm afternoon.Read more
