So we drove through Pierceland and went to Cold Lake AB. Its only a twenty minute drive. Had supper at a cute little restaurant, walked along the boardwalk and the beach. Then made a quick trip to theBaca lagi

In Pierceland we did meet some first cousins-once-removed. Went to the original homestead. The pile of rocks is what is left of the house. Looks like horses live there now.

We spent the morning at one of Gerard's cousins, then drove almost the whole length of Meadow Lake Provincial Park.
