Got there in the nick of time... Rain set in as we left.
It poured this afternoon which made New Zealand's windy roads a little bit more challenging.

Terrible weather today, but we braved the elements and made it to the top of Mauao an extinct volcano on the mouth of the harbour. Even found a trig point. By the time we got back to the bottom weLeggi altro
With the rain still coming down, we headed into the city to do some shopping. The weather cleared and we found a street photography exhibition and a cool little sculpture. Kiddie throw back?

Today Lysa and I both slept in, when we woke up it was raining. But we decided to walk up Mauao anyway. Mauao is a dormant volcano located on the bay. It was very windy and wet.
