Cotopaxi (again)

Early start, crazy Dutchman greeting us for mountain biking. Land cruiser. Two kids being car sick. Sailing up sea level to 4500m in one day. Almost as high as mount blanc. Rather SOB... could of been anywhere cause couldn't see a thing at the top. Gentle start to Ailsa's mountain bike experience ...NOT. Very leaky eyes/sobs. Bail off in the sand. Ash worried for relationship! Uphill slog (actually pretty flat) to beautiful lunch spot (beat annoying Dutch girl ha), tasty brownies from Mrs Dutchman. Knowledgeable Ecuadorean guide ...still unsure of his name. Awesome (ash's words) back to Moira and Jeff. Ailsa glad it over, considering doing a day trip and meeting Ash in Banos. Market fruit tour. Dodgy meats. Hungry bellies resisting deep fried goodies cos we are getting old and can't handle being ill. Cosy night up at Quiltoa Loop, cant breath very well...snugglies!Leggi altro
