Chimborazo

Cloudy start. Stories of the last ice merchant of Ecuador. Hike up to 5100m (drove up to 4800m...) beautiful view of the volcano. Technically highest point on earth... yummy apple and cinnamon cup of tea to delay start biking from Ailsa. Steep biking trail, lots of sand, a lot of screaming and swearing from Ailsa. Ash having the time of his life, inner 10 year old coming out and 28 year old having to remind him if he falls its going to hurt! Cycle past lots of 'yakkas' ash making up names for things again. Beautiful final cycle down the valley to Ambato over 40km (thankfully downhill). Ailsa actually saying it was awesome! Not quite a mountain bike convert yet.
