It’s still raining. We packed up to drive to Te Anau. Te Anau is the jumping off point for Milford Sound. We stopped at the information office on arrival and the forecast was looking grim. The activities we planned appeared to be rained out and the forecast called for thundershowers and gale force winds for the next couple of days. We changed plans and decided to tentatively hike Key Summit if the weather permitted on the following day. As the rain continued, we headed up the road to our campsite for an early night. Hopefully the weather will clear and we can go kayaking and see the glow worm caves.Read more
