Taupo

After a bitterly cold night and the hordes of people we decide to scrap the rest of the hike. We’ll have to come back and finish this circuit on our next trip to New Zealand. Since we couldn’t do the crossing we would have to come back anyways.

Upon exiting the park we drove a couple hours to Taupo. They have some great freedom camping in Taupo right on the waterfront and only a hundred meters from the city center. We called it an early night and would explore the town on the morrow.Weiterlesen
