Penang Hill

On our last day we got up before dawn and climbed Penang Hill. The hike started at the botanical gardens and it was interesting to see how busy the gardens were before sunrise. Everyone was exercising before the days heat. The hike itself was a grueling jungle stair climb followed by 3 km on very steep road. Not a bad pace, we finished the climb in 2 hours. The views at the top were great but the sky was a little hazy. We enjoyed a funicular ride back to the ground and off to catch a flight to Langkawi.Leggi altro
