Kota Kinabalu

After breakfast, we headed to the bus stop. For 3 hours we waited and watched full buses drive by. We finally gave up and tried hitch hiking. We were picked up by a guy and his young son and made small talk for the rest of the ride. A fairly pleasant ride. Once in Kota Kinabalu, we scrambled to find accommodations since we were a day early and realized we had booked the wrong plane tickets for next day. We’ll have to sort this out at the airport. With the remaining day we explored the waterfront, hawker stalls and hunted down a laundry mat.Read more
