Waking up with a hangover on almost 3000 m altitude is something different! 😅 But we were hungry and had to go into town. We sat down in a restaurant, and had 3 dogs around us and under the table 🤭 when we were finished eating, we went back to the hotel to chill a bit more, but one of the dogs really liked us. REALLY liked us. He followed us everywhere, and he followed us all the way back to the hotel (30 minutes walk). Our neighbors have a dog that 'our' dog was really scared of (he made some sad noises), and he was hiding behind us. We didn't want to leave the dog there because of this, so he went with us into the hotel courtyard. We didn't know what to do with the dog, so we chilled a bit with him. He was really enjoying himself, but we had a hangover and wanted to chill too 😅 So we decided to bring him on his way to the town. Every time he was a bit further away from us, we turned around and started walking back. But the dog was not easily fooled, and he always came back. At some point he also didn't want to walk ahead anymore and kept walking next to us. We had to walk all the way back to the market place in town, where we first met him, and then we finally could shake him off in the chaos of all the people and other dogs. It was really sad to do it this way 😭 we wished we could just have told him. 💔 we quickly went on our way back, and then along the way 4 or 5 other dogs started following us. We didn't give them attention, so luckily they all left at some point. At the hotel we watched some movies and had a rest. In the evening we went carefully to town again to eat, looking around behind our shoulders hoing our dog friend 'Boefie' would not follow us again. We didn't see him. Then we went to sleep.Read more
