Day 55, another sunny day at the beach

Today we had a bit of a slow start somehow. But it was nice to sleep a bit longer then the days before. We woke up at around 10.00 and went out for some coffee, after we bought us some empanadas for breakfast. Then we walked to the bus terminal at the harbour to buy tickets for tomorrow to Arica, which is 20km away from the peruvian border. The sun was burning, so eike wanted to pick up his long sleeve from the hotel, but the hotel didn't open, so we went to drink a beer somewhere and then we tried again. They opened the door this time and eike quickly got his sleeve.By the time we finally arrived at the spot where the body board championship was, it was already over. The son of the guy we were sitting next to yesterday, became 3rd place!
There was a band playing. It looked a bit like a boyband (teenagers) but the guitar player was quite good. Eike played around at the fitness machines.
Another band was going to play, and it was some kind of metal core. It was nice to finally hear some loud music again!
When it was finished we went to eat some pizza, packed our bags, took a shower and watched a movie. It was again a nice day at the beach😍En savoir plus
